My team is focused on making Visual Studio the best tool for developing rich applications for Windows CE, PPC and Smartphones. We are adding very cool features in the upcoming release of Visual Studio that will make writing applications for these platforms much easier. In order to get early feedback from developers on the new features, we are working very hard to deliver pre-alpha bits at MDC.

I am certainly hoping to get the bits into developer hands at MDC, talk to as many developers as I can during the event and afterwards to get their feedback and make sure we are building the right features.
