World Wind: what a great (.NET) application!
Wow!
I must have missed this somehow when NASA released World Wind application last fall, but now that I learned about it in DNR I must say that I am really impressed what great engineering, .NET and some DirectX can do for you! I installed the 1.3 version just a few hours ago and have played with it for a couple of hours. Unfortunately the satellite data for Finland is not as good as the USGS Urban data in the US :(
And the great thing about it is that it is open source so anyone can take a look at the C# code and learn from it!
