Lindows 4.5 dies on my Laptop during setup

Weird during the install,  the setup gets to the end of the disk prep/formatting,  and the entire machine just powers down.  No error.  Im off to lindows.com to work out what's going on

booting off the “bootable CD“ demo version works fine, must be part of the detection stage

laptop's a evo n610c

--  Update,  worked it out,  disable the Intel SpeedStep settings in the Bios for the CPU,  hum must be a timing issue..

off i go to click-n-run !

--------------------------------

btw:  (don't flame me) Im a unix integration / migration guy,  spend most of my time helping customers move from Unix/Linux to Windows...

Why on earth are you setting up Lindows? Don't you work at Microsoft? Can't you get fired for even thinking about booting another OS on you machine? ;-)
