Access Runtime Re-released

Published 23 July 07 09:31 AM

We've finally gotten the runtime re-released and its available on the web at the location below.  We've nailed the issues down and it will stay available at this point.  My appologies I didn't get this posted over the weekend - I was away without net access for the weekend.  Clint's blog got the word out earlier, and that's another good place to look for Access information.

Here is the link for the 2007 Access Runtime:

There is one known issue where reports don't work in ADP's.  We're working on a patch for that issue and will make that available as quickly as we can.

Thanks,

Well the thing "* keep the status bar containing the statement "Powered by Microsoft Office Access" displayed in your user interface to be viewed by users at all times;" continues to appear...

I ask again, is this really necessary?

The text "Powered by Microsoft Office Access" in the about box is as good?

Thanks

While I need the adp/ade reports printing, It seems "OutputTo acOutputReport... acFormatPDF doesn't work either in the latest runtime in adp, ade, accdr, or accde files nor does the "PDF or XPS" addin.  I hope they should.  The reports do print in a linked accde file.

I have the same experience as you William, PDF and XPS doesn't work.

I hope the patch is not that far away, the pdf/xps feature is one of the best new features in Access 2007.

I have a question about access 2007. I hope i am not too much off topic.

My question is about the new data type that can contain attachments. Can data stored in such a field be merged into Word via MailMerge object? Can it be used to send different attachments to different receivers of a merged email message? Can this be acheived with the Outlook object modal?

Thanks
