Could YOU be the next Microsoft Idol?

Every year that I've been at Microsoft (except last year!) we've had a huge company meeting in Safeco Field that is unlike anything else I've ever experienced. This year there's a new item on the agenda. From the company meeting website:

"Do you have what it takes to entertain 15,000 of your fellow employees at Company Meeting 2005? Have you always thought you had the talent and just needed the right opportunity to show off your singing ability? Are you Microsoft’s undiscovered talent?"

I'm not a great singer, but that didn't stop me from trying out for American Idol last year. (And if you ask me, I *almost* made it to round 2!) This year, I resisted the temptation to try out for American Idol again. But when I saw this Idol-esque contest at Microsoft, I couldn't resist!

So this weekend I submitted my audition .wma, on which I performed "WinFX is Love" (to the tune of "On the Wings of Love"). :) We'll see...

Ian, A link to the WMA? I'm not *that* crazy! :) If the company meeting judges deem my song worthy of performing, then I'll be more inclined to share it with the world. Otherwise, I'll take the hint and leave the singing for the shower!
