About the exclamation marks...I had to find *something* to mention that I didn't like about your book. That was my only qualm with it, which is an amazing testament to your writing style. :)

Personally I'm a big parenthesis man (I have trouble resisting the urge to nest them in text...it's the way I talk), but my brain tends to filter exclamation points as being a sign of spam or insanity :-)

But then I'm a Kiwi, and the correct response here if a meteorite crashes on your house is to look at it for a coupe of minutes and say "Bugger".
