WPF Unleashed, with Yaks!

I got the following email this morning that astounded me.  I thought I'd share (with the author's permission):

Just dropping a line telling you I like your WPF Unleashed book a lot, and brought it to my recent trip to Tibet. I also took a picture of your book in the wild, and thought you might like the photo!

Cheers,
Luc (Paris, France)

Looking through the photo album, I uncovered this photo as well.  I guess the book can be used for many things!

This is what I love about the internet and blogs/communities.  How cool is that?  We really are shrinking the world by allowing everyone with similar interests to communicate in such an open environment.  Now I wish I could find some time to read your book on a hill v. at a plain ol desktop!

Oh my, that's quite a good use. :-)

Well, I didn't read your book in any exotic place (unless the subway is considered one...), but I'm glad I *did* finish it a few days ago.

Of course, I did point to your book when I began reading it

Another nice point about blogs: now I know it took me 3 months to read this bible. :-)

I have also thought of it as a good reading for vacation.
