A post about the EDM Designer prototype is at http://oakleafblog.blogspot.com/2006/10/new-entity-data-model-grap_115999276623949030.html. The post raises some issues about the Designer's current limitations and LINQ to Entities' query performance with larger-than-usual entity sets from related tables.

The original version of the post mentioned problems with 1:1 relations between columns of a single table, which was incorrect and has been removed from the item. Specifying a many-to-one relationship between the Northwind.Employees.ReportsTo and Northwind.Employees.EmployeeID columns solved the problem.

Is it possible to use this with Visual C# 2005 Express Edition? The MSI is not installing since I only have the express edition, and I was just wondering if it's possible to get around somehow?
