Vista ready PC

My chiropractor is a very tech savvy guy, he is always talking about technology with me and really gets excited talking about Xbox and Vista. His questions always prompt me to learn more about the capabilities of Xbox and Vista.
The other day he asked me about what it means to be a Vista ready PC as he is in the market for getting a new laptop and read something about it in a PC magzine.
