Hello,

My name is Alden Linn and I am an engineer on the .NET Micro Framework team at Microsoft.  This is my blog concentrating on the .NET Micro Framework technology which is meant to be an informal meeting place for tips and tricks used in creation of .NET Micro Framework applications and platforms. 

I have been involved with the product for over 3 years and am divulging my inside secrets about the product and its many features.  In this blog I'll share introductory to expert information so that students, partners, independent software vendors, oems, application developers or whomever else that is interested can evaluate and explore this wonderful technology. 

I'll start by sharing some short blogs describing how to use the .NET Micro Framework features of the platforms we support as well as new Visual Studio extensions that were created to enable integrated embedded development.  I will then try to answer any specific questions about the product here in this blog.  No problem is too small so please ask and I'll consolidate and provide the information back to the broader blog audience.
