Tablet PCs in the Classroom

The On10.net web site has a video of a visit to a school where all of the students use laptop computer. They have started using Tablet PC this year. Students as young as 5th grade are using them. Teachers are using them to teach as well. All of this is quite a change from the professor who banned laptops from her courses that I wrote about in a previous blog entry.

Kevin Schofield, whose daughters attend the school in the On10 video talks about it at his blog at On10.

I would love to move our school to tablets (or even to computers).  We have about 12 ancient P2 200 WinNT machines.  :(
