Fun with Group Policy!

Deploying or deployed Outlook 2007? Do you have a SharePoint 2007/WSS3.0 based intranet or team site?

Using GPO you can configure Outlook 2007 to be hooked up to team calendars, lists or RSS feeds.

This is very cool.

Now, to complete the picture - dynamically create sharepoint team sites for each team/department in your organisation (minor assumption: you have kept your AD up to date) and then connect the various lists to that particular team. You could be using SharePoint without ever opening the browser!

(you can also automate this via the stssync protocol, if you frown on using GPO for such a frivolous purpose)
