Anandi’s Thoughts

Random stuff (mostly) about working as a Program Manager at Microsoft
Live from Building 20!!!

Hey everyone!  The TAP Kickoff is going on this week and the 3rd day is almost over.  We have a great group of partners and customers here.  My team has been enthusiastic about coming over to have lunch with their "buddies" and coming to the evening events as well.  So far the events have been a lot of fun - the first evening was at the Company Store & Visitor Center, and the second night was at a hip Seattle bowling alley/pool hall/bar.  It was the first time I had been there and it was a great place for a large group event.  I even learned some of the rules of table shuffleboard.  What an odd game!

Tonight we're all going to the Foo Fighters/Weezer concert.  That should be a good time, too.  A lot of folks at the event have said they read my blog.  If that's really true, then I expect you guys to comment with your thoughts on the event!  I'd love to hear what you think!

So far it has been awesome. Especially since I got a cool trophy for bowling the highest score!

The presentation content and the nightly events have both been great! I hadn't heard about your blog until Monday, but since the training mentioned the MSS community website, now I can get to it easily!

Anandi - thanks for all your efforts on the TAP kickoff. We learned lots and had a great time as well. Tell your husband that we appreciate his sacrifice!

Well I suppose I gotta go and build some machines, whilst listening to the Foo Fighters. Thanks again to all of your team.

Yeah, buddy! Excellent stuff indeed, and the Foo Fighters weren't too bad either. ;) Gotta love Everlong (mostly) unplugged.

And way to represent, Brandon!

Great job Anandi.

The content was great and the acftivities were awesome. I didn't care too much for Foo Fighters but I really liked Weezer.

Brandon - maybe next time I'll try bowling and give you a challenge for that trophy. Congrads.

Great event Anandi! Only thing I'd have changed is the room, since anytime we weren't using the computers, they tended to get in the way more than be useful (both in line of sight and table space).
