I used to interview undergrad students for student worker positions in our office. I really hope those kids learned interviewing skills in their education (we interviewed a lot of freshmen, typically), because some of them just didn't have a clue.

My favorite was the guy who showed up and acted SO bored with the interview, like he didn't care if he got the job or not. I obviously didn't hire him. He came back by the office to ask if he got the job, and I told him no, we had hired someone else. He cursed at me as he was walking away. The next day, his MOM called me to bitch me out for not hiring her precious baby.

Hi Anandhi,

Nice to learn lot of interview tip from this post.

Your words are simple and easily understandable.

When I read, initially I can saw numbering, but later my eyes doesn't noticed no.of.points. Every sentence were valuable points.

This is my 1st visit to Microsoft employee's blog.

I had a guy interview for a job...he kept texting and answering his cellphone during the interview. No kidding. I finally about hit the roof & ended the interview. Can you even imagine doing that at an interview??!
