TechEd 2010 Student Pass: Life is good for technology students

Life is good for technology students

Free food.

Prizes.

Info on how to get Microsoft software for free.

Change the world.

Sounds good to me!

We'd love you to come along to a special students-only free session at Microsoft's TechEd conference on the Gold Coast where you'll get to hear about how you can get your hands on free software, get prepared for entering the IT industry, find out about cool competitions  and get a chance to go hands on with the new Windows Phone 7.

To top it all off, you'll also have the opportunity to spend an hour in the Technology Showcase, featuring companies from all over Australia who supply technology related products, training and consulting, and have a chance to network with these companies, setting yourself up with some connections that could help you get a job when you graduate.

Come and hear from fellow students about their experiences with Microsoft technology and see if you know the facts about DreamSpark, Imagine Cup, Students To Business, free training, and more from Microsoft that's been created specifically for students to help them be as productive and awesome as possible.

Oh, and did we mention that it comes with free lunch provided?

Oh, and that we're going to give away a couple of prizes, like… maybe an Xbox 360? Oh, and we'll try to swing some swag your way too just so no one goes away empty handed.

12:00pm Start

  • Introduction
  • What Microsoft does for students
  • Imagine Cup 2011 - how you can win big and help the world at the same time

  • Office 2010 - how Office 2010 including the free Office Web Apps can help your productivity
  • Conclusion and transfer to Technology Showcase
