Ravings of a Developer TS

I have been with Microsoft as part of their Develop Platform and Evangelism team since July of 2006. As I go about my day to day, I often stumble across things I want to share out with the community. This is my soap box. I am based out of the Midwest District, so please don't be offended if you see most of the events I post being in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. If you are ever curious if the event will be in a city near you, just ask :)

Register for the Triple Product Launch Event Near You Today!!

Event

Take a test drive

Did you know that there is a HUGE product launch coming soon!  That's right, this event will cover SQL Server 2008, Windows Longhorn and Visual Studio 2008. Now the confusing part is what is actually available?  Well, Visual Studio 2008, TFS 2008 and VSTS 2008 released last November (I know, EARLY!!).  Longhorn Server is coming soon, and SQL Server 2008, well, it's coming.  Look for it sometime in summer.  But that won't stop us from celebrating their immanent release, sharing free downloads of product trials, and doing cool demos for you.

Registration is now open for the premier launch event in Los Angeles on Feb. 27th and further events around the world. I listed the events in my area below but this is happening in almost every state, and in many other countries too!  Don’t miss out.  Click here for more information and to register before it sells out!

March 11 Chicago, IL Register now

April 3 Indianapolis, IN Register now

April 17 Madison, WI Register now

May 8 Milwaukee, WI Register soon (sorry, it's coming)
