Ravings of a Developer TS

I have been with Microsoft as part of their Develop Platform and Evangelism team since July of 2006. As I go about my day to day, I often stumble across things I want to share out with the community. This is my soap box. I am based out of the Midwest District, so please don't be offended if you see most of the events I post being in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. If you are ever curious if the event will be in a city near you, just ask :)

Chicago VSTS User Group Presents - Enterprise Project Management with Visual Studio Team System and Project Server 2007

Enterprise Project Management with Visual Studio Team System and Project Server 2007.

Project Managers love MS Project. Developers, Business Analysts, database professionals and QA folks love Visual Studio Team System. Can they collaborate effectively using separate tools? Can these tools communicate with each other seamlessly, or is everyone doomed? As you might have already guessed from reading the above line, Project Server 2007 and Team Foundation Server can most definitely be configured to share Task and Resource data automatically so PMs can use Microsoft Project and "normal people" can use Visual Studio.

Dave Laskowski will be discussing how to set this up and what it can do for you and your organization.  Dave did a national webcast on this topic on behalf of Microsoft in March, and now he'll be presenting this information live in Chicago for our July meeting.
