&lt;p&gt;Its great to see so many sites developed on sharepoint. Thanks to RoberDan too for linking how hawaiianair was powered. For a very similar requirement, can somebody provide some insights as to 1. whether sitedefinitions or just sitetemplates should be used to give that look and feel. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Or by simply modifying master page and adding few layouts pages and deploying them through features would suffice? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Also, the critical question being whether we should simply have one big sitecollection and sites within it or separate sitecollections. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The site was designed and implemented by Razorfish, the worlds #1 Interative Design agency and a recent Microsoft acquisition(infrastructure design/deployment was provided by Cardinal Solutions).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Razorfish provided the side strategy, creative design and build (web parts, layout, CSS/DHTML).&lt;/p&gt;
