This email arrived my inbox today - it's from my cousin - the famous Astro Nerd from Nerds FC Season I.
"Its that time again where I need your support. Nerds FC will be playing once again against some hectic opponents. If you are able to come, I would appreciate it very much. We are producing a Special Big Event Television night exclusively for the Nerds teams.
Date: Saturday February the 17th
Location: Pittwater Rugby Park On Pittwater Road Warriewood. ( about a 30min drive from the city)
Parking : Plenty and free
Crowd to be seated by 6.15 pm ( please bring plenty of Nerds banners, signs, balloons, trumpets and anything else to help support the nerds. The series 1 nerds team colours are blue and white. The series 2 nerds team colours are black and gold ).
Pre match entertainment starts at 6.30 Game 1 at 7pm
Game 1 Nerds FC 1 verses the NSW under 11 elite squad( a very talented bunch of potential socceroos, plus all the energy these kids have, this team is quite intimidating!)
Game 2 Nerds FC 2 verses the ex Socceroo All Stars. ( a very formidible opponent)
Live Entertainment by Chris Murphy of Australian Idol Fame and a few other surprises
The Nerds teams will be transported by bus to the location but all spectators should make and ! it's FREE..
This will be a night to remember!!!!!!
