How to find out how many more addresses are available in the DHCP server?

I got a couple of questions from a collegue regarding configuring DHCP server from a client machine. Before you can configure the DHCP server from a client machine like XP through netsh or MMC, you need to install something. How to programmactically set/view the DNS settings that we set in the DNS tab of the Server/Scope/Reservation property page? Before we investigate how to retrieve this information, let me first explain to you that this information is persisted as a DHCP
