PeopleSoft is now certified on SQL Server 2008/Windows Server 2008
At Oracle Open World 2008, Oracle announced that PeopleTools 8.49 now support SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008. PeopleSoft customers can now plan to upgrade their Database Platforms to SQL Server 2008 and take advantage of new features such as backup compression. enhanced concurrency with new Snapshot Isolation.
