&lt;p&gt;cscript adsutil.vbs set w3svc/&amp;lt;identifier&amp;gt;/root/&amp;lt;VirtualDirectory&amp;gt;/NTAuthenticationProviders &amp;quot;Negotiate,NTLM&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If there is no virtual directory then remove it from the above command.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Be sure to do an 'iisreset' to make the changes take affect.&lt;/p&gt;
