Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my blog, I know you have a choice!
I've worked for Microsoft for a number of years and have spent the last 20 years working in the technology industry. My first role was working with Wordperfect Corporation and Wordperfect 5.1 for DOS which now seems like a very long time ago!
Throughout my career I have always had an interest in:
a) How the advent of technology can fundamentally affect our lives,
b) The creativity that is needed to make technology work, and finally
c) Putting that technology in the hands of people, who have no interest in what makes that technology work, but it enables them or their business to innovate in new ways.
At Microsoft I work in a group called DPE - Developer & Platform Evangelism and I focus on helping customers in Retail, Manufacturing and Services sectors innovate with using our latest technologies.
