Web Search for a Planet: The Google Cluster Architecture

An excellent read which includes some interesting design considerations for very high-throughput architectures. I wouldn't mind being exposed to that kind of project (in .NET of course)... :)

Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Google cluster is... you have to see it for yourself. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
