DLC error when using disabled network card
A DLC (802.2) command TRANSMIT_TEST_CMD (11H) failed with error TRANSMIT_ERROR (23H).
EXPLANATION
An error code which is not explicitly handled by Host Integration Server has been returned by the DLC driver.
This could be due to network card mis-configuration or hardware problems.
If you have seen this error, which says a hardware issue, its just simple to troubleshoot. The chances are you are configuring a DLC 802.2 Link service using an inactive network card. To verify this:
1) Open SNA Manager and see properties of DLC link service, in configure - > adapter, you should see list of network cards available on the Box.
2) Verify we are using the correct network adapter card and its active.( one may want to check their working LAN settings as well).
