This Blog is written by Finula Crowe. I am the Relationship Manager for Developers and Designers at Microsoft Australia. I commenced in the role December 2007 having come from the Product Management role for Developer and Designer tools (made sense to me!). I intend to try at least to blog about what goes on here at Microsoft, relevant to developers. This could cover anything from an interesting learning resource or course I come across to an event we are planning or I've covered. I am always open to suggestions.
On a personal note, I am Irish, have worked in the software industry in various Sales, Marketing and Management roles over the past 12 years. I've been on all sides of the technology fence having worked for Borland (in the good old JBuilder hey days), been MD for RogueWave Software, and even flogged MCSE and CISCO Training courses for Dimension Data and Drake Training. I also managed to get a couple of years of experience in as an IT Recruiter so, I maintain my passion for career advancement for developers!
In addition to Developers, I am very passionate about fashion! A strange mix I know! I own at least 100 pairs of shoes and am also a lover of hats of any sort (even vendor emlazoned caps). I am fluent in a few European launguages including Gaelic.
