Microsoft Action Pack Update

For partners receiving physical kits, we would like to update you on shipping schedule changes for your Microsoft Action Pack Subscription (MAPS). 

Over the next 12 months, Microsoft will have a series of significant product launches – including Windows® 7, Microsoft® Office 2010, Microsoft® Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2, among others.  As a Microsoft Action Pack subscriber, we want to ensure that you have access to these new products as soon as possible.  As a result, the timing of the Microsoft Action Pack Subscription physical kit shipments will be adjusted to align with the new major product releases. Please note that you will continue to receive four kits with your annual subscription. Digital Access

As of June 2009, MAPS subscribers have digital access to MAPS software¹ and contents (regardless of whether you receive physical shipments). All of the latest MAPS software and marketing collateral will be available for download throughout the year immediately upon availability². Marketing materials and Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2 software are already available for download. We expect Windows® 7 Professional and Windows® 7 Ultimate as well as additional kit software to be available for download by late August. And we are pleased to inform you that in addition to digital access, you will also receive a physical shipment of Windows® 7 once available.

Physical Shipments

For partners who receive physical media¹, you will receive your shipment soon after the software and marketing collateral become available². The next kit (all media and marketing collateral) will ship in September.
