Richard Hundhausen has released two webcasts featuring the Microsoft Visual Studio 1.0 process template on Channel 9. Both include Q&A at the end of the presentation. Check them out at:
I'm afraid these videos aren'r really worth watching. - at 1hr they are far too long, and need some serious editing. The author could also take a look at his own work, for example 12 min's into Part II the screen is just blank. A stright dump of a webcast is pure laziness. Videos can be a great way of conveying a lot of information in a short time. Take a look at the Google videos to see how it' should be done.
I second the above user's notion. Keep it under 15 minutes, and you might have something people would watch.
Whinge, whinge, whinge … some people have nothing nice to say! I’m not one! Thank you for sharing these very informative videos. Although the audio quality isn’t the best, it’s adequate for communicating the message. Many thanks and keep up the good work :)
I disagree. Mike and Andy have shown valid points. This videos could be separated into smaller chunks - it'll be easier to watch and find information after a while. Oh, and audio quality is really bad.
Passed information is great, but the form could be better.
You need both not either or. An overview video but then a more extended session for those that require it. As with everything in life people have limited resource and time so sometimes anything is better than nothing. Lets encourage more not less.
I really enjoyed these videos,,,,,,worth watching
