I just got a call to appear on CNN and to talk about cool Chinese gadgets from China. Now we all know that almost anything plastic and somewhat electronic is made or partially assembled in China. However, many of the cooler products are really not sold in China and can only be found in developed markets like the US or Europe where people have more disposable income. This reminds of this Onion article that makes fun of this trend for Americans to buy useless gadgets In China itself, we get a lot of cool cheap products but nothing really ground breaking. Sure we have a lot of cute fuzzy form factors for our gadgets but the real weird stuff is shipped elsewhere for consumers to buy.

Finding cool Chinese gadgets to show off may be a challenge. Post any suggestions you may have in the comments section.
