Welcome to the Microsoft Advertising Platform Evangelism Blog! Big team name eh? Well generally we shorten it to AdPlatE - makes remembering the blog name and our alias much easier (i.e. send email to adplate at Microsoft if you want to contact us). This is a team blog, so expect to hear different voices - and gasp! different opinions. What binds us all together though is our excitement about the future of software and advertising. Traditionally the software industry has been supported by licenses and consulting fees. Well advertising breaks this tradition by adding a third leg. And Microsoft is in the midst of this transformation now. Core to this transformation is our expertise as a platform company. We know how to partner and how to build platforms for those partners.
