I’m glad to announce that we have released Rich Cloud Application Framework and Sample 2.0.
Rich Cloud Application is a Rich Internet Application that is hosted in the cloud and has following key characteristics:
• Duplex server communication
• Session awareness on the server and on the client
• Peer awareness on the client
• Client and session registry

Rich Cloud Application framework combines Windows Azure Platform components (Windows Azure and SQL Azure) with Silverlight Rich Internet Application:

Product Support Online Sample

Product Support Online is a sample utilizing RCA concepts and implements simple product support system with ability to report bugs, discuss product features with peers and receive workarounds and patches (for end users) and collect vital statistics about product client base (for product vendors).
In addition to core RCA features above, Product Support Online also sports universal rating system covering every user and work item in the system, peer-to-peer video/audio-chat over UDP (for users on the same local network) which saves costs on Azure traffic, printing support with report preview, full out-of-browser support, LiveId authentication and many other functions implemented with the final version of Silverlight 4 (RTW). Full source code is provided under New BSD License.
