In an intriguing video interview (30 mins) at ZDNet, Vint Cerf discusses the future of communications, from IPv6, Spam (he suggest the public flogging of Spammers) and privacy, Tim Berners-Lee’s Semantic Web, to the role of ICANN, and of course plans for the Interplanetary Network.

Widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet" Vint Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols (30 years ago! - the other is Robert Kahn), and now senior vp of Technology Strategy for MCI.

“Internet is for everyone - but it won't be until in every home, in every business, in every school, in every library, in every hospital in every town and in every country on the Globe, the Internet can be accessed without limitation, at any time and in every language.”

From, "The Internet is for Everyone". Amen.
