so we meet again...

Now that your IIS 7.0 is secure and healthy, what's next? Keep it happy! A very cool resource to do just that is the Microsoft.com operations blog (MSCOM OPS). Over the past few months, they've posted just once a month, but each post has been filled with news you can use. Here's their most recent post: "help us to help you!".

If you've seen my IIS 7.0 presentations, I demo MSCOM OPS Top 10 things to love about IIS 7.0. A blog post from September 2007 stated: "Microsoft.com has been running Beta 3 of Windows Server 2008 in production since June 12, 2007. What does that mean? 78 of 80 servers that host the www.microsoft.com website are running W2K8 Beta 3 and IIS7.0".

78 of 80? Not anymore; the updated number is 79 of 80 (they are probably running RC bits right about now). They keep the last, lone server around for compatibility and smoke testing - and it is guest blogging (with video!) on the Windows Server Division blog!

P.S. He's lonely, add him as a friend on Facebook!
