Microsoft Reaps the Rewards of Female Managers
Women rarely make it into senior management in German corporations, but Microsoft Germany is now setting an example of how to systematically achieve equality for women. Shrinking populations in Europe are forcing companies to get serious about bringing women into the executive leagues. It's a step that is also helping them become more profitable.
Speaking of empowering the workforce, here is a quick snippet from our keynote speaker's bio:
Diane Wallace has demonstrated a career-long commitment to nurturing talent and potential in others. Diane has always been a major proponent of employee development and has sponsored employee mentoring programs. While serving as Vice President at CNA, she was active in mentoring programs through Menttium®, an organization devoted to fostering development and advancement of professional women. During a planned career sabbatical from 2001 to 2002 she volunteered within the Hartford Public School System. Each week, she tutored several students at the Mark Twain Elementary School to help them improve their reading and math skills.

Nice huh? That's right, she's the CIO of our great state of Connecticut!
P.S. Our event in Connecticut is "sold out" (strange way of putting it for a free event for students). We intend to capture a ton of photos and videos, so you will not be left out.
