Eric Picard, Director Ad Technology Strategy at Microsoft, walked us through the business of online advertising, the inefficiencies in the market and the opportunities. No demos, no code, just a walk through of the business. Easy enough for me to understand :) Next time, I'm hoping his final slide is accompanied by some very cool hands-on demos! Neural Scanning? Wow.

Very clever presentation, from the title+abstract to the artwork involved to the actual demos. I'd highly recommend viewing the session, if only to grab onto the discount they announce in a very unique way..watch it!

I then had to jet and miss the last session. If you were like me and missed any sessions or just couldn't be there, get caught up on the sessions web site.
Overall, I was extremely delighted to have been a participant at MIX08. It truly was a "MIX" of business, creative, design, and development. It got me thinking. And I'm at my best when I think. See you at our conference - hopefully we can make folks think too!
