eek! Don't pretend like you don't know the rest :) I stumbled upon this very accessible video (around 30 minutes long) on moving to Parallel Programming by foraging around Phil's blog. I think it was very well done - part of a bunch of documents, videos and other resources that are part of the HPC Resource Kit for Developers.
