eek! I intend to have a page with all the resources that we uncovered at the Connecticut XAMLFest last week. It was a blast and we had over 50 folks (see the photo below) crammed into our tiny office to get XAMLized for 2 days.

XAMLFest in CT

Were you there? How did we do? Appreciate any feedback, so that we can improve: allandcp @ microsoft dot com. We used Live Mesh to share out a ton of content, so email me if you’d like to jump in.

Here’s a verbatim from an attendee…

Thanks again for putting this on.  This was great.  I feel like I got a huge jumpstart to WPF and Silverlight.

Looking forward to more of these!

So, should we run this again?

P.S. It will take me some time to get the resources going, but here are a few link heavy entries that have some things we discussed…

  1. Candy Everybody Wants: WPF DataGrid and the Ribbon Part 2 (WPF Quality Guide, PDC Sessions, WPF Bootcamp, etc.)
  2. Candy Everybody Wants: WPF DataGrid and the Ribbon Part 1 (WPF DataGrid/Ribbon and Line of Business Applications)
  3. From Tim Heuer: A comprehensive list to Silverlight Controls for developers
  4. And for those of you who aspire to wear berets and black turtlenecks ;) Check out the new video series UI Design for Developers (currently free, so get it!)
