Twelve months ago, everybody (+ dog) was blogging - these days it seems like the pace of posts is really starting to drop.

Was blogging a fad, and have people turned their attention to new fads?

It would seem a shame for the firehose of human creativity, opinion and the occasional deep insight into the psyche to be turned off or locked behind proprietary systems or private networks.

Will the blogosphere resemble an elephant graveyard of first posts and diatribes of no longer current affairs? Time will tell. I'm still here though.
