i am really digging onenote right now!

I composed the above section on my Samsung Blackjack, via OneNote 2007 mobile. OneNote is one of my top used applications (the only apps I use more are Outlook and Groove) - and being able to jot down notes, capture phone pictures or audio is really really cool.

OneNote is my scrapbook - almost everything I do starts its life in a OneNote notebook.

  • All of my meeting notes are captured in OneNote (and they are synchronized to my phone), items tagged as TODOs automatically come across to Outlook.
  • Documents get their start as OneNote files (and OneNote even allows multiple authors to edit the document in real time)
  • For every training course I go on, I use OneNote to take notes and import handouts.
  • In fact, we are using OneNote more and more to cut out dead-tree training handouts, reducing cost and allowing the content to be easily updated over time.

When you first connect your device to your PC, OneNote will ask if you want to install OneNote Mobile. That is all you have to do to get it up and running!

There is lots of other cool stuff in Office Mobile, so stay tuned for more posts on the topic!
