Laptop processors are pretty fast these days. We've reached the point where the hardware is so fast that it exceeds what most people need in terms of performance, even most technical users (e.g., software devs).
very true... I guess the performance computer enthusiast is the 21st century equivalent of the performance car enthusiast. "Woah, this one has 4 cores and a fully charged FSB.. and it has a racing stripe on the case"
