Ports Company tracks forms and business processes with InfoPath

An Australian InfoPath case study has been published on microsoft.com:

Microsoft Case Studies: DP World

Their solution uses SharePoint, InfoPath, CRM and Nintex workflow (a workflow tool that sits on top of MOSS and WF to provide WYSIWG workflow creation). An interesting benefit they saw from automating their forms processes is decreased insurance liability:

“Ultimately, this lowers our insurance risk, especially when you consider we are talking about roughly 50 cases per day,” says Wheeler. “There is a cost gain in the efficiency with which we log and track all damaged container cases, and we can reconcile claims much faster. And if lawyers need to track through events, then we can search and find the information we need.”
