I'm trying to create an authentication provider for MOSS that integrates with a Data Power device that is sending me SAML tokens. I am assuming that I need to extend a MOSS Web App, choose Web Single Sign On (not Forms authentication), and specify my custom authentication provider that derives from MembershipProvider. Then I build the custom membership provider to cosnume the SAML token and create a Windows Identity based on the information inside the token. Is this correct?

I have a sharepoint 2007 installation and an CRM3.0 installation.
In the contactsform in CRM I added a username/password field.
I would like to use these fields for users (contacts) to log in to our website.
Could you point me in a good direction for how to implement this?
Can I use this provider you talk about as a challenge, and did you get any providers sent?
