I've been Tagged - five things you might not know about me

Arpan Shah and Andrew Connell have tagged me in this fun game that has hit the internet.

I'm really really busy so I'll keep this short - and I haven't thought too much about this or vetted it :)

1. I eat Kangaroo's
   • Kangaroo Meat is actually really really nice - and it is super low fat - like 1%-3% - very tender and juicy - you can buy it at super markets over here.

2. I started my first company when I was 15, Digital Flow and ever since then I've been a workaholic
   • A couple of my school friends (Richard, Alistair, Peter) started our first company doing generalist IT stuff (Web Design, Network etc) when we were 15. The name of the company was Digital Flow (cool name) and we ran for a while building stuff and then we all got real jobs or went to university.
   • Ok the workaholic side of things - I love my job - running around the globe talking to people about SharePoint and all the goodness in the 2007 Office System - I work days/nights/weekends/while I sleep because it is my passion.
3. In 2005 I was Semi Finalist in the Queensland Young Achiever awards.
   • In Queensland (QLD) there is a competition run by Awards Australia - for the Young Achievers. In 2005 my employer at the time Data#3 helped me come up with an entry that rocked and it got me Semi Finalist.
4. I needed a lawyer/solicitor twice before I was 18.
   • I will only tell you about one of these and I'll sneak another point in there. Because I started working straight out of school (first tried to get a job in London at the height of the .COM Crash), i.e. I didn't go to university, I was working in a fairly good job. Hense I was well cashed up and purchased my first apartment/property before I was 18 - hense the lawyer.
   • The other reason I won't tell why - but it isn't that bad :)
5. One of my sisters is a rockstar and been in a feature film.
   • This isn't really about me but its something I really dig. One Sister (i have 2 sisters and 2 brothers), Elea, who lives in New York now is a really funky chick. She has a couple of bands in Australia - one of the Gazoonga Attack (myspace) (all chick punk band) and another The Tremors. Gazoonga Attack were quite big and played all around Australia but were celebs in Brisbane/Melbourne. the Tremors on the other hand were huge and toured the country supporting one of the largest bands in Australia, Powder Finger.
   • On the film front she was in a movie called 48 Shades based on Nick Earl's book - click on "Gazoong Attack" or "The Party" or "The Trailer" - her band rocked out at the party of the film and if you find a trailer she's the one pashing another girl :)
