A customer contacted me and asked for a summary of how Outlook complements SharePoint.
I need to know if Outlook categories can be imported with the basic contact data into Shrepoint contact list? No sign of categories in the basic import process - either during of after the import.
I've set up a contact list in Sharepoint, and created new column views to categorize each item. When I connect the contact list to Outlook, all of the information is transferred except the categories. Is there any way to get outlook to recognize the categories I've created in Sharepoint for this list?
