A new whitepaper has been released on www.microsoft-oracle.com for JD Edwards Enterprise One customers. The paper provided an introduction to Microsoft Virtualization for Oracle JD Edwards customers. It also goes into detail on the process and best practices for virtualizing your JD Edwards applications with Windows Server 2008 Hyper-v. Microsoft partner, ACS also did several tests in a lab with several common JD Edwards UBEs to show that virtual performance was very close to physical hardware (see snapshot of results below).
