Hey all, some folks on the XP Embedded team have recorded some video demonstrations of various features of XP Embedded, including walkthroughs of some of the new XPE SP2 features.  Click here to check them out today!  I did the Device Update Agent (DUA) video, so please forgive me for being a little nervous.  I also had a really bad cold the day I recorded it and had to stop for some coughing fits, but the folks in the MSDN recording studio did a great job of editing it out  :-)  Here's a complete list of the videos that are available (not all of them are new):

  • Accelerated Operating System Configuration
  • Automated Dependency Checking and Build Process
  • Building a Windows XP Embedded Device
  • Device Update Agent for Windows XP Embedded
  • Windows Embedded Application Development
  • Windows XP Embedded - Basic Lab
  • Windows XP Embedded Product Overview
  • Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 - Basic
  • Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 Technical Training: Embedded Enabling Features
  • Windows XP Embedded with SP2 Security Feature Enhancements
  • Assisted Component Authoring
  • Automated Device Analysis
  • Systems Management Server (SMS) and Windows XP Embedded
  • Windows XP Embedded - Advanced

  • Hello, what happened to those videos that were
in WMP format, they were also available to "save target as",not these ...
  • I am checking into the availability of these videos for download and I'll let you know what I can find out....

  • Any chance youre still looking into availability of these for download, some of use dont have full time connections to the net and would appreciate having these for reference. I myself am sitting at a netcafe wishing i could download them to take home, i have no broadband net access in my old building :(
  • Hi Adrian, when the initial request came in for downloadable versions of these videos at the beginning of the year, I sent it on to our content publishing team but it appears that they didn't get posted and it fell through the cracks. I followed up with them again and they are in the queue to be published in the next few weeks. I'll keep an eye out and post an update when they are available. I apologize for the inconvenience.
