I recently noticed a series of in-depth articles that have been posted on the Windows Installer team blog, and I wanted to link to them here as well to try to increase visiblity for them. These articles are nicknamed the Tao of Windows Installer, and are intended to be a set of best practices for creating, deploying, servicing and maintaining Windows Installer-based setup packages.

I strongly encourage anyone working in the setup and deployment space to take a look at these. I've been working with Windows Installer for years now and even with that background I found interesting things that I didn't know or hadn't thought of in these articles.
