I just noticed this post on Bret Grinslade's blog that I wanted to link to here to help raise visibility. In that post, Bret describes how to gather more information about any installation failures that you might encounter while installing a beta version of Visual Studio 2008 and the .NET Framework 3.5, and also some resources where you can go to find more information about known issues and workarounds.
