Hi Desperate_user - If you have Update Rollup 2 for Media Center 2005 installed, there is a hotfix for Windows Media digital rights management (DRM) that is available at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913800/en-us. It might help to install that to resolve tihs issue on your system.

I tried what you suggested here but like Superplay when I tried playing the wma file I downloaded here I received an error: Windows Media Player cannot play the protected file because the required security upgrade is not available for download. THis is Error C00D11D0. This is the same thing that is happening when I tried to play the songs I bought from an online store (fliptunes.net). CAn someone please help me here? Thanks!

I am about to apply the hot-fix to see if that helps.

I have been getting a Blue Screen w/ Digital Audio Service fairly often and apparently randomly. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Even when recording from the same channel and series.
