Phani just published a blog post with directions on how to build OData apps for Windows 8 Metro. The Metro bits are still very much in a prerelease form (e.g., you’ll have to invoke codegen with a command line tool) but it should enable developers to start trying out OData on Metro. For the blog post as well as sample bits and the sample app, check out Phani’s blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/phaniraj/archive/2012/04/26/developing-windows-8-metro-style-applications-that-consume-odata.aspx.
Have fun, and please feel free to provide feedback below.
By "metro" do you mean WinRT? Metro is a ui design style that can be done in most any ui API an language (with enough work).
